I had a deviated septum and some nasal membranes were larger than normal; the top of my nose was also narrowed. Dr. Sikand performed three procedures on me on the same day which took about 30 minutes (corrected the deviation, shrunk the membranes, and used the balloon method to open up the narrowed area). Now I can finally breathe through both of my nostrils; such an amazing feeling. I cannot believe I went through life all these years living with only breathing clearly through one nostril. This surgery has changed my health, I am able to run better now and also has helped with my allergies and nasal discharge is very minimal now (before I was always clogged on one side and had constant mucus). Dr. Sikand also takes the time to explain exactly what is wrong with you and does not rush things like other doctors. During surgery his bedside manner is also excellent. He makes sure to explain it in a way that you can understand, since I am not in the medical field I didn’t understand a lot of the medical terminology. I highly recommend Dr. Sikand for your ear, nose, and throat surgeries.

I was referred to Dr. Sikand by my immunologist due to having recurrent sinus infections. Dr. Sikand and the staff are always so professional and I never wait too long before being called back to a room. Dr. Sikand assessed my problems and seemed like he was really listening to me and very genuine. He told me all my options and I opted for the sinus balloon dilation surgery. It was a smooth process with scheduling and insurance approval and I was extremely comfortable during the entire surgery (most of the surgery is him making sure you don't feel any pain). He walked me through everything and what to expect and the recovery went exactly as he and the staff described. They even called me the day after to check on me. Dr. Sikand and his staff have impressed me throughout this whole process. I would recommend him to anybody needing ENT care!
